The Denpasar Children’s Home was established in 2005 as a result of the social conflict in East Timor. There are 32 children in this Mercy Home. They were rescued from hopelessness and despair
of the Refugee Camp which was located at the borderline of Atambua and East Timor.
They were flown to Denpasar where the house was built in November 2005. Mercy Denpasar also saved children from Ambon, Alor, Kupang, Nias, Medan and Singaraja. The former Mercy Center for smaller children (aged 7 to 12) is now combined with this Mercy Orphanage.
